Upkeep Management
They often say that the two biggest issues facing seniors from aging in place are the medical care and maintenance of the home. Many companies focus on the first, and we're one of the few companies that focus on the second. Seniors are also commonly targeted and become prey to outlandish prices on home repairs. With our property management program, we handle all of that. We use our 10+ years of real estate experience, utilizing our own vendors and connections, acting as the advocate on the senior's behalf. It's common for seniors to save thousands of dollars by utilizing us for just one major repair. We handle whatever services are requested, from lawn care, snow removal, emergency calls in the middle of the night, safety risk assessments, and all other home maintenance items. The senior, or the family, never has to worry about the house again.
Sell and Stay Program
A senior should be able to age in place in their own home if that is their desire. However, the upkeep of the home and financial stressors preventing adequate care can prevent them from aging in place. There are limited options out there, such as reverse mortgages, but can have significant drawbacks that are often overlooked. We love our Sell and Stay program, where we buy the house from the senior and rent it back to them. This unlocks their equity in the house, giving them the full proceeds from the sale to utilize for their living expenses (maybe now even being able to afford your senior care services), without ever having to leave. We also do a full risk assessment of the home, making any improvements to make it as safe as possible. We also then handle all the upkeep and maintenance of the home, giving dignity to the senior to be able to age in place in peace.

It's often a situation where the senior needs the care you provide, but they are unable to transition until the house is sold. This creates multiple layers of issues and stress on the family, going through years of belongings and trying to get the house market-ready. It can take MONTHS!
